When should I arrive at the church for the ceremony?

Please plan to arrive at Christ Church of Arlington by 3:45 PM to be seated. The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:00 PM.

Shuttle transportation will be available from each hotel to the ceremony and reception. Please meet in your hotel lobby by 3:15 PM for pickup.

Will there be parking?

Yes. For guests driving to the church, street parking is available nearby. After the ceremony, you may use valet parking at The Hay-Adams or take one of the provided shuttles to the reception.

What should I wear to the wedding celebration?

We’re having a ball, so feel free to go all out!

Women: Floor-length evening gowns. (Black-tie doesn’t mean you have to wear black!)
Men: Tuxedos encouraged.

For guests looking for a bit of color inspiration, you’re welcome to draw from our wedding palette: soft pink, peach, coral, gold, and various shades of green. We can’t wait to celebrate in style with you!

Will the wedding take place indoors or outdoors?

The ceremony will be held indoors at Christ Church of Arlington. The reception at The Hay-Adams will also take place indoors, with access to a beautiful outdoor balcony overlooking Washington, D.C.

September in D.C. is typically lovely, with mild temperatures and a gentle early-fall breeze: perfect for celebrating!

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

We kindly ask that you refrain from using phones, cameras, or other devices during the religious ceremony. We have professional photographers and a videographer capturing the day, and we look forward to sharing those moments with you afterward.

Is this a child-free wedding?
